Department Mission Statement

To provide an array of services to students at Southwest Texas Junior College that will prepare them for successful completion of a program of study.  These services will include: (1) developmental education courses in math, reading, and English, (2) tutoring, and  (3) computer assisted learning labs (Academic Centers for Excellence) with a variety of software.
