TOPIC 10: SUBMITTING YOUR ASSIGNMENTS
Uploading your work to the assignment box will require a little practice. You may want to print these directions and use them while you are completing the steps on your computer screen. Do not give up. If you need help, call or e-mail me.

time to download. There is sound on the video but you may have to turn the
volume almost all the way up to hear the sound. You may need to install a flash player.

To submit your assignments:
1. Click on Assignments on the Course
Menu
navigation
bar or click on the Assignments icon on the homepage. This will take you to the
Assignments page (I post additional information for your your assignments
on the Assignments page) clicking on this Assignments icon will take you to
see a list of your class assignments. Click on the assignment you want to work
on. Perform the instructions given in the assignment. Read all instructions
carefully.
2. If you are responding to a list of questions, create an answer sheet for your assignment by either copying and pasting the questions into a word processing document or creating a new document. Read each question and type your answers into the document. Otherwise, just create the file or files indicated in the assignment which might be a Word document, Excel spreadsheet, Access database, Power Point presentation, or a Web page.
3. Save your work in a location that you can find easily.
· Name your file in a format you can upload to WebCT. Do not use periods or commas in a file’s name.
· Select the proper format for your document (Save As Type)
4. Close the file you want to submit. Otherwise, you will get a notice of "File conflict, file Open," when trying to upload it.
5. Upload your work to the assignment box.

6. When all files appear in the assignment box for the selected assignment, click the "Submit assignment" button.

7. Click 'OK' in the box that says "Confirm Assignment will be submitted. Proceed?" Once you click OK you will not be able to take the file back. If you submit a file by mistake, please contact me so that the assignment can be reset and you can send the correct file.

8. A message appears indicating that your assignment has been submitted successfully and that confirms I will receive your work.
Give me a few days to grade the submitted assignment. Once it has been graded you will be able to see the grade using the My Grades icon on the course Homepage. Also my comments can be read by clicking on the "graded" link for each assignment in the Assignment list.
