TOPIC 11:  TAKING QUIZZES AND TESTS

Quizzes:  Some classes require that the student take regular quizzes over course material.  Check the course syllabus for information regarding quiz requirements.  To take a quiz, click on the Quiz Icon on the course WebCT Homepage and then click on the name of the quiz you want to take.  You will see a list of questions in the form of multiple choice, matching, and/or short answer.  Read each question carefully and then click or type your response to each question.  After answering each question you must click on “Save Answer” for your answers to be graded.  If the quiz marks one of your answers wrong and you think it is correct, please contact your instructor.  The question will be checked to see if an error has been made.  Please indicate the quiz, the question number, and provide a page number in the textbook that supports your answer.  In some courses you will be allowed to take each quiz two times if you choose.  Again, check the course syllabus for specifics about quiz taking in your course.

Tests:  This course requires that the students take tests during the semester.  Tests are completed in the same fashion as quizzes.  However, tests may only become available at certain times on certain days.  Check the Assessment page for test dates.

This course uses the word Assessment for both Quizzes and Tests.

Click here to download and view a video about quizzes. This is a large file and may take a long time to download. There is sound on the video but you may have to turn the volume almost all the way up to hear the sound. You may need to install a flash player. When the video has finished click on the back arrow to return to this page.
