MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS TO BE ABLE TO TAKE ACCOUNTING ONLINE

You will be doing homework with an online homework manager.  In order to be able to view videos, access tests, your computer must have the following requirements.

 

System Requirements

Most MyAccountingLab courses require a Windows® operating system and a supported version of Microsoft Internet Explorer®. System requirements may vary depending on your course.

Basic requirements for all MyAccountingLab courses

• Internet connection: Cable/DSL, T1, or other high-speed for multimedia content; 56k modem (minimum) for tutorials, homework, and testing.
• Memory: 64 MB RAM minimum
• Monitor resolution: 1024 x 768 or higher
• Plug-ins: You need certain plug-ins and players from the MyAccountingLab Installation Wizard (found inside your course)

Operating Systems

• Microsoft Windows 2000
• Microsoft Windows XP

Note: MyAccountingLab does not currently support Mac or Linux operating systems or Firefox, AOL, or other browsers.

Compatibility with Microsoft Internet Explorer® 7

On November 2, 2006, Microsoft made Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7) part of its update system. The MyAccountingLab software is fully compatible with this release.
